The LGFA Injury Fund provides essential support for players in the event of injury. Below you can find the guidelines, claim forms, and information documents for making a claim.
How to Make a Claim
Follow these three steps to submit your injury fund claim correctly and on time.
Submit Preliminary Claim
Complete and submit the Preliminary Claim Form as soon as possible after the injury occurs. This must be submitted within the required timeframe as outlined in the Injury Fund Guide.
Gather Documentation
Collect all relevant medical documentation, receipts and evidence of treatment. Refer to the Injury Fund Guide for a full list of what is required to support your claim.
Submit Full Claim
Complete the Full Injury Claim Form and submit it along with all supporting documentation. Ensure all sections are completed fully to avoid delays in processing your claim.

⏱️ Time Limits
Claims must be submitted within the timeframes outlined in the Injury Fund Guide. The Preliminary Claim Form should be submitted as soon as possible after the injury occurs. Late claims may not be accepted.
✅ Eligibility
Players must be registered with a Waterford LGFA club and have their club affiliated with the LGFA for the current season. Injuries must occur during official training sessions or games to be eligible for a claim.
